Donna Swartzendruber, MSN, RN, CNN, writes about nocturnal dialysis. Dialysis treatments can take a big chunk out of a person’s life. Much like a sleep center, patients come into the center, get hooked up to dialysis and sleep there. Patients treat the facility like home and often enjoy movie nights with popcorn, etc. while hooked up to dialysis.
