Pierre Robert, radio disk jockey of 93.3 WMMR in Philadelphia, is a symbol of a generation that loved its music live and loud. The mid-day host of a rock and roll station in the nation’s fifth most populous city, Robert recalls a saying from his early days covering rock concerts: “If it’s too loud, then you’re too old.”
